I try, where possible, to use an additional layer as the adjustment so that I don&#039;t actually end up twiddling with the actual pixels of the original picture. This has saved my &quot;bacon&quot; any number of times in the past, usually because I found a better way to achieve the same effect as I got better, and was able to simply throw away my adjustment layer instead of going crazy because i had already altered the pixels of the original.
