Focus Change for TechTraction: Technical Tips for WordPress Bloggers

If you read my March 19th post “What’s Wrong With My Blog: An Honest Self-Assessment of TechTraction.com”, then you know that I just completed an honest assessment of TechTraction which resulted in a redesign to-do list. Top of the list was a site redefinition action item.

TechTraction.com has been a “catch-all” web site for anything I thought I wanted to blog about. After closely examining the 4 bullet points on my About page that define my original purpose, I stripped the bullet list down to nothing. Therefore, today I’m announcing TechTraction’s newly defined purpose. Hold on to your hats everyone!

TechTraction.com offers technical tips and insights to blogging with WordPress (wild applause erupts from the blog-o-sphere — well, maybe not.)

I know, there are plenty of other blogs out there covering the same topic; however, that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for one more. I like blogging about this topic, and we all know the old saying, “Do what you love.” Also, I’m a firm believer that there are several ways to explain the same thing and it never hurts to have a fresh view or different voice on the same topic. Not to toot my own horn, but I’ve been pretty successful in the realm of publishing technical articles in the past. Therefore, I believe I can add value to the topic of technical tips and insights to blogging with Wordpress. All that being said, it’s time to start cleaning up the site — I have a bunch of Lotusphere related posts I need to permanently archive.
