I came across an interesting post over at Mezzoblue that discussed how the author found his blog was essentially hacked and littered with hidden links buried at the bottom of his site’s pages. Keep in mind, the original post was written over a month so you might have already heard of this problem. If you haven’t, then by all means check out the post “Unsettling” at Mezzoblue. The post includes excellent detail about the problem and a lively comment discussion to follow. After reading the post I was compelled to upgrade to the latest version of WordPress and change my passwords on my Dreamhost account. Not a major inconvenience but a tedious chore nonetheless.
