Well, vacation is over and I’m back to work (day job and my blogs). Unfortunately, I wasn’t prepared with pre-scheduled articles for my return week so I’m a little behind this morning. Fortunately, when I was checking the WordPress Dashboard for incoming links I noticed two links from BookmarkBliss (Stark’s blog that replaces Fuzzy Future which is still around but just not a blog anymore). I followed the links and learned about the upcoming Blog Action Day.

Being Part of the Blogging Community

Upon first glance Blog Action Day appears a bit off topic for TechTraction; however, using your blog as a conduit through which you can lend your single voice to a larger community effort is one of the great parts of blogging. Regardless of your blog’s topical focus, you can always take a break, go off topic, and write a post to help raise awareness of an important subject. That’s exactly what this year’s Blog Action Day is all about: lending your voice to help raise environmental awareness.
