I’ve been trying to start a series of articles on building a custom theme for TechTraction; however, I can’t even get started on the custom theme, let alone write about it. I think I have a mild case of writer’s block — at least for TechTraction.

Aside from TechTraction I also co-author a blog with my brother called Brothers in Blog. We rant, rave, and review about an eclectic mix of topics. With that range of freedom I have no problem creating a stock pile of articles ready for publication. And if I don’t have an idea, I merely read the news and it doesn’t take long before something catches my eye or gets my goat and my fingers start flying across the keyboard. Unfortunately, when I have to come up with an article on a specific topic (blogging with WordPress), I seem to get stuck quite easily. And you know it’s gotten very bad when the best thing I can come up with is a post about how I’m having difficulty posting. Good grief!

At the moment, unfortunately, I don’t have a solution to my situation. The best I can come up with is to keep plugging along and perhaps something will come along and help me break through this rut.
