Friday Finds for 05/30/2008: Twitter Resources
Concluding my week long Twitter posts I’m listing a few good links to more Twitter resources:
- New Media Bytes has published a very comprehensive list of Twitter resources which is broken down into various categories. I haven’t looked too far, but I can’t imagine a list more complete than this one. Bookmark it.
- Twhirl is a Twitter desktop client built using Adobe AIR. I use it and think it’s an awesome Twitter client not to mention a great example of what you can do with Adobe AIR.
- Currently I follow 15 different people/entities on Twitter (and I’m always looking for more). Some of my favorites are CNet, TechMeme, Ars Technica. These entities broadcast several updates every day, which can be distracting if you enable them for “device updates” but you can always change that setting if you’ve turned it on for a particular person/entity. Keep in mind, however, that “device updates” are turned off by default.
- The Twitter FAQ. Very useful if you’re just starting out or your first stop for basic Twitter questions
- The Twitter API. Should be your first stop for developer resources
Know of a useful Twitter resource, or want me to “follow you” on Twitter, just post a comment below.

You have some great Twitter resources here. I have them bookmarked. There is too much to get all in one shot so I know I will be referring back.
Glad you found the list useful. Thanks for the comment
